The Facilities Custodian reports to the Maintenance Manager and also works closely with the Operations Manager in creating and maintaining a clean, safe and functional work environment. The successful Facilities Custodian is a self-starter, organized, reliable, a guru in multitasking and fastidious in keeping the areas clean throughout the facility.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

-Cleaning required process areas as well as the utilities equipment areas on the exterior of the building. (Certain areas will require use of PAPR and Tyvek coveralls).

-Responsible for garbage and recycling within each process area and break room.

-Communicating with various team members both verbally and via email.

-Update for inventory/stock items in storage areas (pallet racking, mobile minis etc.)

-Manages inventory of cleaning supplies. 

-Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuum floors. 

-Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.

-Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.

-Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.

-Loading and unloading delivery trucks using material handling equipment.

-Provide support for packaging/shipping. 

-Other assigned duties as needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

-1 years of Janitorial experience within a manufacturing environment. 

-Ability to communicate across different teams

-Ability to manage multiple projects at a time. 

-Stellar track record of work attendance. 

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 

-Ability to wear required PPE including Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).

-Hazardous waste management experience. 

-Forklift experience or the ability to be certified onsite – we will train.

The base pay range for this position is $20/hr- $26/hr. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
